Project: V/Line – South Dynon Temporary Maintenance Facility project

Everon Infrastructure was engaged by V/Line Corporation (V/Line) to deliver the South Dynon Temporary Maintenance Facility, comprising comprehensive civil infrastructure works to establish a new operational maintenance depot supporting the relocation of the West Melbourne Maintenance Depot (WMMD).

The scope of works included bulk earthworks, site preparation, pavement construction, underground stormwater drainage, hardstand areas, access roads, vehicle circulation routes, pedestrian pathways, car parking, traffic management infrastructure, kerbing, line marking, signage, protective bollards, and associated civil works. The project also incorporated service proving, non-destructive digging, environmental management, heritage monitoring, quality assurance, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

As the appointed contractor under V/Line, Everon Infrastructure was responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of the civil works, including site establishment, construction staging, stakeholder coordination, material management, environmental and heritage compliance, quality assurance, and safe delivery within an active transport and infrastructure environment. All works were completed in accordance with V/Line standards, approved design documentation, and project safety and quality requirements.

This project represents a key investment in supporting V/Line’s metropolitan rail maintenance operations by delivering a modern, durable, and operationally efficient maintenance facility. Everon Infrastructure successfully delivered the works with a strong focus on safety, quality, compliance, and program certainty, providing infrastructure that will support the ongoing maintenance and reliability of Victoria’s rail network.
