Project: MTM- Flinders Street Station

Everon Infrastructure was engaged to deliver the Flinders Street Station Customer Experience Improvement Project – Western End Package (Platform 10 Entrance Construction). The project comprised structural, civil, architectural, and building services works to construct a new passenger entrance, improving station accessibility and enhancing the customer experience within one of Melbourne’s busiest transport hubs.

The scope of works included piling, foundation and concrete works, structural steel installation, demolition and reconstruction of the Arbory loading bay concrete slab, demolition of the existing V/Line and Drivers Huts, relocation of in-ground platform services, installation of ceilings, cladding, roofing, gutters and downpipes, and electrical and lighting works. All works were completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and operational requirements.

As the appointed contractor, Everon Infrastructure was responsible for coordinating and delivering all aspects of the construction works, including site management, construction staging, stakeholder coordination, material management, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements. The project was successfully delivered within a live operational rail environment, with carefully planned day and night works to minimise disruption and maintain continuous station operations.

This project demonstrates Everon Infrastructure’s capability in delivering complex station infrastructure works within highly constrained live rail environments, enhancing passenger accessibility and customer experience while maintaining the safe and efficient operation of Melbourne’s busiest railway station.
