Project: V/Line – GEB Siding Upgrade

Everon Infrastructure was engaged by V/Line Corporation (V/Line) to deliver the Sunshine GEB Sidings Upgrade Project, comprising critical civil, rail, and electrical infrastructure upgrades to improve operational capability, safety, and reliability within the siding precinct.

The scope of works included comprehensive upgrades across the GEB Sidings, including major drainage improvements, track renewal, pavement construction, electrical infrastructure upgrades, and safety enhancements. The project involved the installation of new stormwater drainage systems, culverts, concrete channels, access pavements, handrails, renewed track infrastructure, new lighting systems, switchboards, and associated power supply upgrades.

As the appointed contractor under V/Line, Everon Infrastructure was responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of the works, including site establishment, worksite protection, environmental controls, material management, plant coordination, rail safety requirements, and coordination of multidisciplinary construction activities within a live rail environment. All works were delivered in accordance with V/Line standards, approved design documentation, and project safety requirements.

This project represents a significant investment in improving the functionality and resilience of the Sunshine GEB Sidings, supporting safer and more efficient rail operations across the V/Line network. Everon Infrastructure successfully delivered the works with a strong focus on safety, quality, compliance, and operational continuity throughout every stage of the project.
