Project: VSBA – Mentone Park Primary School – Late Works

Everon Infrastructure was engaged to deliver the Mentone Park Primary School – Late Works package, comprising civil, car park, landscaping, and fencing upgrades to enhance the functionality, safety, and accessibility of the school’s car parking and external circulation areas.

The scope of works included the demolition and removal of sections of existing asphalt pavement, concrete footpaths, chain link fencing, and selected trees, followed by subgrade preparation, drainage improvements, and the construction of a new asphalt car park extension with refurbished retained areas. The project also included the installation of line-marked standard and accessible parking bays, bollards, wheel stops, architectural fencing, gates, and landscaping reinstatement including new grassed areas and tree planting.

Everon Infrastructure was responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of the works, including site establishment, protection of existing school facilities, material management, coordination of subcontractors, quality control, and compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and relevant authority conditions. All works were delivered through careful staging to maintain staff parking and emergency access, ensuring minimal disruption to school operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and stakeholder coordination.

The project has successfully transformed the school’s external precinct, providing an upgraded car park layout, enhanced drainage, and safer vehicle and pedestrian interfaces that support improved accessibility and the school community’s ongoing use of the site.
